Berry Bros & Rudd Spirits Range
As many of you may know the range includes Speyside Single malt, The Glenrothes, No.3 London Dry Gin, The King’s Ginger Liqueur, Mauritian-produced Penny Blue XO Rum and Pink Pigeon Spiced Rum, San Francisco- produced Junipero Gin, Hophead Vodka, Swedish-produced Karlsson’s Vodka as well as the Berrys’ Range of spirits distilled across the world.
An outstanding Speyside Single Malt whisky with only 4% of the distillery’s output making it into the eponymous range. Borrowing from wine credentials, The Glenrothes was the first to adopt a vintage only range. Exceptionally tall stills give the signature elegant, fruity style while the predominance of former sherry barrels for ageing lends a spicy character.
No.3 London Dry Gin
Named after the address of the historic Berry Bros & Rudd shop in St. James’s Street, No.3 is the epitome of elegant simplicity using only three spices and three fruits to create its London Dry Gin. Bottled at 46%, it is the ultimate Martini Gin and don’t just take our word for it….No.3 has won ISC Best Gin in the World three times - in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
The King's Ginger Liqueur
Initially designed by Berry Bros in 1903 for King Edward VII at the request of his physician who was concerned the then King needed reviving and restoring after drives in his ‘horseless carriage’. We are now delighted to be able to offer the King’s Ginger Liqueur more widely.
The Berrys' Range
Berry’s started bottling their own spirits in the early 1800s . Since then they have developed an award winning range of spirits; Whisky, Rum, Armagnac and Cognac. Berrys’ only selects the best spirits from around the world from Single casks and small runs of casks. Of natural colour and non-chill filtered, they aim to reflect the individuality and personality of the casks themselves which means that sometimes our whiskies will be very different indeed to distillery offerings of a similar age.
Pink Pigeon & Penny Blue XO Rum
Both rums are handcrafted by the Medine Distillery in Mauritius. Established in 1926, it is the oldest existing distillery on the island. Pink Pigeon is spiced with natural botanicals of vanilla pods, orange and orchid leaf and is named after a real but sadly endangered native Mauritian bird. Penny Blue XO is named after one of the rarest stamps in the world, printed on the island of Mauritius and reflects the small batch nature of the rum and the stamp’s link to the history of the island. The first 3 batches have sold out and we are now on batch #4.
First distilled on Potrero Hill in San Francisco in 1996, Junipero’s secret recipe is the result of 10 years of research into the mixing of herbs, spices and botanicals. An artisan gin, it is handmade in small copper pot stills in the classic “distilled London dry gin” tradition.
Hophead is the world’s first distilled Hop Vodka. Hophead blends the history and heritage of the Anchor Brewery and distillery in San Francisco. Inspired by the West Coast of the USA, the hops are sourced from the Yakima Valley in Washington state. Hophead is highly versatile and performs like a gin when sipped, chilled or in a martini.
Kalrsson's Gold Vodka
Karlsson’s Vodka is the story of a few families from a small part of Sweden who joined together to save their farms from becoming golf clubs and resorts. After first creating a co-operative to more effectively sell their unique crop,“Farmer’s Gold”, they asked Börje Karlsson, the Master Blender from V&S Group during the creation of Absolut Vodka if it would be possible to make vodka from these exceptional little potatoes. A few years of experimenting brought about this single-distilled and unfiltered expression of the delicate raw ingredients from which it is made. Karlsson’s Vodka is the world’s only vodka made from Virgin New Potatoes.
